The Hawai`i Watercolor Society sponsors two exhibits each year, a Members’ Show in the spring and an Open Show in the fall. Work is juried by visiting mainland or overseas artists. Previous jurors have included Mary Ann Beckwith, Sue Conner, Stephen Quiller, and Doug Lew.
2011 Open Exhibition
This annual juried Open Exhibition showcases the best in watercolor painting with diverse techniques from traditional to experimental. HWS strives to present watermedia as a vital, enduring and expressive medium, through education and exhibition.
